Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer with deep expertise in NLP and machine learning modeling to join our team. This role focuses on building, deploying, and optimizing NLP models, with an emphasis on core machine learning for NLP applications. While advanced experience in NLP model building is paramount, familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and experience working with both on-prem installations and API-based integrations are also important.

Apart from culture fit being of paramount importance, for our current job opening, we are looking for the following must-have skill set:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with 5+ years of hands-on experience in NLP and machine learning

• Strong programming skills in Python, expertise in NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face), and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar)

• Practical experience with LLMs, including model fine-tuning, deployment on-prem, or using API integrations is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in data engineering to preprocess, transform, and manage large datasets for NLP applications.

• Experience with ML Ops tools and techniques for deploying, monitoring, and managing machine learning models in production.

• Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on solving complex NLP challenges and implementing scalable solutions.

• Strong background in mathematics and statistics.

• Fluency in English (speaking and writing).

The following skills are good to have:

• Knowledge of LangChain and LangGraph frameworks.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable model deployment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

If you are ambitious to gain more experience in:

• Designing, developing, and deploying robust NLP models, optimizing for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in production environments.

• Applying advanced NLP and machine learning techniques, developing custom models tailored to solve complex language-based problems.

• Managing the end-to-end ML pipeline, including data engineering, feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation.

• Working with LLMs where applicable, understanding how to leverage and integrate them within existing NLP frameworks and workflows.

• Implementing ML Ops practices to streamline model deployment, monitoring, and retraining, ensuring robust and consistent model performance in production.

• Staying current with advancements in NLP, including transformer-based models and other cutting-edge NLP frameworks.
