Job Description
As an Information Security Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding organization’s digital assets, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information across all systems and services globally. Working alongside cross-functional teams, ranging from IT and DevOps to legal, compliance, service delivery, and product, you will help define, implement, and maintain security controls aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
This is a hands-on, mid-level role that combines strategic thinking with practical execution. You’ll be involved in assessing risks, developing security policies, coordinating audits, executing vulnerability assessments, and responding to incidents, while driving security awareness across the company. Your contributions will help create a resilient security posture that supports our business objectives and maintains the trust of our clients and stakeholders.
In our fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll have the autonomy to influence processes, propose improvements, and work with a high degree of ownership. Your efforts will directly support a culture of security by design, integrating best practices early and consistently throughout our development and operational workflows.
Apart from culture fit being of paramount importance, for our current job opening we are looking for the following must-have skill set:
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in system administration or information security roles.
• Good understanding of network security principles and technologies and common cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and EDR.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in Azure services and Microsoft 365 platform.
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
The following skills are good-to-have:
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and threat hunting.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM).
If you are ambitious to gain more experience in:
• Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Monitoring and analyzing security alerts, threats, and vulnerabilities, and taking appropriate actions.
• Responding to security incidents, investigating breaches, and providing recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborating with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Assisting in security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
• Assisting in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts.
• Assisting in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, frameworks, and best practices (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
